Super Sonic Senses

Anne Athena
£ 4,800 GBP

A hand-build vessel with hand-painted ceramic pigments and real gold luster. With the use of her own symbolic language the artist Anne Athena tells the story of having a hypersensitive nervous system as a person living with high functioning autism.

“Super Sonic Senses” is a humorous work about being deeply in tune with animals, which research has shown is common for neurodiverse people.About the medicine that nature provides for her through the feeling of the cold grass kissing her feet, gently putting out the fire of overstimulation and the birds singing coming to her aid to stop the bleeding.

Feeling at one, almost merging with the trees, a modern life Aurora.
