Boat.3 (Hammerhead Shark) by Teddy Hansen

The story describes a boat overloaded with fruit that has sprung a hole in its hull and is taking on water:

The boat hires some hammerhead sharks to come and fix the holes with their heads and some nails. The result is that all the fruit has been washed by the seawater, and to lighten the load, the sailors eat the clean apples before sailing back home.

This leads to a happy boat and crew.
