Why are two geese better than an engagement ring?
Because you can save money on pens by using their feathers as quills. You can take the geese out flying, and, if you lose one they have built-in alarms.
The painting shows a man holding the two proposal geese. Their heads and necks form a heart shape in front of his red jacket. Behind the man, under his arm, is a biplane that represents the two birds and indicates that both the couple and the birds will be able to fly together.
A quill draws over the tail feather of the left-hand goose. Behind the man stands a large goose, wrapping its neck around him.
Mixed media on canvas.
