For the second year in a row we will be at the London Art Fair at the Business Design Centre in Islington, London.
Our display for LAF brings together seven artists, each at different stages in their careers and practices. Through their chosen media, they highlight distinct aspects of their humanity, offering a multifaceted response to the human experience.
The presentation evokes a wide range of emotions: nostalgia intertwined with grief, trauma processed through painting and drawing, feelings of familiarity felt within the domestic sphere and reflections on its gendered associations. The feeling of joy emerges through humour, while physical labour is sensed through the toughness of the materials. The works featured in our display also respond to the contemporary moment and the turbulence seen in the news cycle, revealing how individuals subconsciously absorb and react to the world around them.
The artists featured are: Adi Avidani, Dan Hollings, Freya Pocklington, Julia Hall, Selby Hi, Teddy Hansen, Vicky Lindo & Bill Brookes
We will launch the artworks for the fair on January 16th at 12:00PM GMT.
